The Last Letter is a short thriller set over the course of one sleepless night. A man discovers a handwritten letter addressed to someone who no longer exists — and begins retracing a relationship he thought he understood. The film is constructed around misdirection and the slow collapse of certainty.

Shot on 16mm to preserve grain and unpredictability, the visual language deliberately avoids clean resolution — shallow focus, obscured sightlines, and tight framing that keeps the audience slightly off-balance throughout. The edit mirrors the protagonist’s mental state: deceptively calm on the surface, increasingly fractured underneath.
